Non comprehensive maintenance service includes breakdown and preventive maintenance of the elevator but does not include supply of any spare for the equipment.

Non-comprehensive maintenance
A non-comprehensive (labour-focused) contract covers technician time for preventive visits and breakdown attendance, adjustments, lubrication, and diagnostics. Spare parts are quoted and invoiced separately unless explicitly added to the scope in writing.
What to plan for
- Variable parts spend when failures occur
- Clear after-hours approval paths so urgent repairs are not delayed
- Optional consignment of fast-moving kits to shorten downtime
Often a strong fit when
- Equipment is newer or lightly used
- You prefer lower fixed fees and can carry parts risk
- In-house engineering can support stocking and approvals
