Modernización
Servicios de modernización básica, avanzada y total para restaurar la seguridad, fiabilidad y rendimiento de sus ascensores existentes en América Latina.
Every elevator requires modernisation mainly due to three factors:
- Age
- Change in Rules
- Update to Avoid Downtime
To ensure that the lift is brought to a safe and reliable operating condition, we offer three types of modernisation services as described below. Each programme is planned with an understanding of the elevator's current condition, the budget required, shutdown time available, and your expectations from the modernisation.
Basic modernisation
During basic modernisation we try to retain as many components of the equipment as possible, except for the electrical and electronic equipment, which we replace entirely.
Basic modernisation includes replacement of all electrical components and refurbishment of the machine, together with other minor replacements if certain components are found defective.

As per our experience and study, basic modernisation of the elevator should be carried out about every seven years. This reduces overall running cost, helps ensure compliance requirements are met, brings in the latest technology, reduces downtime, and increases the life of the elevator.
This type of modernisation requires less shutdown time and is budget friendly.
Advanced modernisation
During advanced modernisation we try to retain only the basic structural components of the elevator and replace all other components, including electrical and electronic components, machine, and doors.
In advanced modernisation, the structural components are steel parts that are long lasting and are retained after ensuring they are safe for continued use.

Because structural components are retained, we are restricted to maintaining a similar overall design, and inclusion of the very latest technology in some areas may not always be possible.
This type of modernisation still reduces overall running cost, helps meet compliance requirements, brings in up-to-date technology, reduces downtime, and the look and feel can be as good as a new elevator.
With advanced modernisation, we can offer an uptime guarantee to the equipment for the first three years.
Total modernisation
In total modernisation, the full lift is removed and the latest lift is installed in its place. All existing components are removed.
Total modernisation ensures the latest technology in all aspects, per the choice of the new elevator. The type of new elevator may be chosen from the various elevator types whichever suits the requirement best.

With total modernisation, we offer an uptime guarantee for the equipment as mentioned in the new elevator catalogue.
